“How sweet it would be to treat men and things, for an hour, for just what they are! [...] When we are weary with travel, we lay down our load and rest by the wayside. So, when we are weary with the burden of life, why do we not lay down this load of falsehoods which we have volunteered to sustain, and be refreshed as never mortal was? Let the beautiful laws prevail. Let us not weary ourselves by resisting them. When we would rest our bodies we cease to support them; we recline on the lap of the earth. So, when we would rest our spirits, we must recline on the Great Spirit. Let things alone; let them weigh what they will; let them soar of fall.” - Thoreau

from the moment I entered your page, read the title and gazed upon the photo... I found myself warmly smiling... the poem is a sweet song, a hymn for the spirit. sweet like nectar, pure like a raindrop... to unrevealed everything about us, true and bare, back to the source...only the source and nothing else fake. and again... how your smartness meld with your lovely pen, just wonderful and so admired by me.

A very cool abstract poem in a vibrant shade of yellow. I see swatches draped over fence lines and gardens bragging that they know the artist personally. Very cool.

I love reading, writing, music, nature, God and feeling emotion, not necessarily in that order. To me, these things go hand in hand. My favorite writer is Henry David Thoreau. I think he was a geni.. more..
