no longer forelorn

two unpopped kernels of corn

promises sworn

paying time its precious dues

in places where the sun doesn't shine and rich, fertile soil doesn't mind

birthday suits worn

faith  reborn

hearts airborne

me a thorn

you a wild rose

our love an emotional manifestation of prose

bodies locked in verses of recitation

as far as giving goes

shedding inhibitive woes

holistic vines entwined

lost deep in the throws
