I think it's necessary to rely on love for many reasons....even if you think you're going down... there is something in our minds that move us to note that we have some love for ourselves....and will keep moving on ...on a happier note....your quote is well said....

so true what you say. love is a complex thing and can be both exhibited & interpreted differently. some of us love more deeply than others, others feign love when it's really themselves who they love with little room for anyone else to fit. it also means different things to different people. looking back - what i saw as love she saw as control when i was just trying to make things easy for her. looking back we were never really married - we were just two people living together leading mostly separate lives. many of us are in love with the idea rather than the reality. it must be an open, two-way street but communication is vital. we never discussed serious things. it's often the quiet ones we need be wary of. oh well, no one said it would be easy. thanks for sharing B. ... :)
