i can't keep walking on broken class

can't pretend i have gold when it's shiny brass

someone has to mow the grass

i can't swim in an ocean of tears

can't feign bravery when i'm overladen with fears

someone has to shift the gears

i can't say i'm light when i'm only a flash

can't send smoke signals when all i've got is ash

can't tell people that it's filet mignon and lobster when it's hash

someone has to take out the trash

can't you see

you are thee

be what will be

and that someone is me

It’s better to be real and honest than to fake a lifestyle and circumstances that are false. I don’t like people who pretend to be perfect; which none of us are. I want real blunt honesty above all else!!
