I have lived close to the Thames all of my life. I say the river flows through my veins. These days you wouldn’t drink it, it is toxic thanks to the failings of water companies who are dumping sewage in it.It really upsets me. The wild life is dying and there are warnings not to let dogs swim in it. What a state. So much for care of the environment. That’s my moan for the day Pete. Your haiku, set me off :)
