a warm, tight embrace to let go of lost years

a kiss to ease doubt's fears

a forgotten basket of 'theres' and a plethora of 'heres'

an unlimited heart of forgiveness to erase the burden of arrears

a double-clutched change of gears

a bold axis 'pon which to spin wobbly spheres

a hand of truth along with a tender heart that steers
