Country Roads (And Secret Codes)

Country Roads (And Secret Codes)

A Poem by Pete
"

Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth. - Thoreau

"
Happy Couple Driving On Country Road ...

with the top down
we drove winding, back, country roads
the radio blasting out our favorite songs
our hands frequently reaching for the dial at the same time
a good excuse to hold them instead
as our young hearts sped
especially when we took a room at the next town
