if the moon said that it didn't have enough to eat and could never be full

if night refused to make room for day

if reason said that it couldn't break free and find a way

"Ok" .. lol
Like koans and other existential rubber-band games, "ok" will have to do.

The writing offers a nice little labyrinth walk, none the less, exploring the elemental and primary features of the natural world and our position in it. And personifying some of those features along the way is an intelligent design to bridge the reader with the reading.

lol. you're right, we existentialists are inextricably linked with nature. at least, "ok" doesn't rock the boat. thanks for sharing and remember not to ever have a staring contest with the sun.

Naturally, I turned up late and when I finally locked (Clint Eastwood eyes) that big ol' chicken left town and headed west over the horizon.
So, I won and I lost all in a glance!

Playful. A delightful piece Pete with its references to the natural world. I enjoyed the personification and wondered how many glasses of vino I would need to drink to find myself in this place. I was tempted. Much enjoyed.
