Serenity Now And Holy Cow

No people ever lived by cursing their fathers, however great a curse their fathers might have been to them. - Thoreau

there's an old tv sitcom show

when one of the characters gets angry or upset

sometimes, instead of exploding in a fit or rage

he looks upward and says, "serenity now, serenity now"

his part in stirring up trouble, he does disavow

it might raise an eyebrow

but i guess that's better than milking a "holy cow"
