Always And Forever

Always And Forever

A Poem by Pete
"

Bribed with a little sunlight and a few prismatic tints, we bless our Maker, and stave off his wrath with hymns. - Thoreau

"
Walking in the Light | Faith Bible Church

basking amidst hallowed, atomic incandescence
his loving arms wrapped around me
still unable to grasp the full essence
still allowing me to be
making my blind eyes to see

despite the icy, darkness of my sin
the door ajar
always willing to let me in
hope and eternity draw nearer, as hell and damnation tumble far
in the divine presence of he who breathes light into a star
