The Clock Isn't The Only Thing Running

The Clock Isn't The Only Thing Running

A Poem by Pete
"

When you knock, ask to see God — none of the servants. - Thoreau

"
Hold Onto God During Difficult Times ...

in fiery youth i went to church in a lackadaisical search for god
in gelid age i go in a desperate need to never lose touch with him
last time i checked, there were no calendars for eternity

"The youth gets together his materials to build a bridge to the moon, or, perchance, a palace or temple on the earth, and, at length, the middle-aged man concludes to build a woodshed with them." - Thoreau
