This, That Or Some Other Damned Thing

This, That Or Some Other Damned Thing

A Poem by Pete
"

Beauty and music are not mere traits and exceptions. They are the rule and character. It is the exception that we see and hear. - Thoreau

"
Falling in Reverse's Ronnie Radke ...

propped up in an office chair with an off the rack suit and double windsor knotted tie
confined soul rattling steel bars inside
living the boldfaced lie
sometimes it feels like i'm dead
rather listen to the voices inside my head
echoes of what the good book said

tattered clothes worn down to a thread
baseball cap pulled down over my shaved, balding head
matters not what lies ahead
might not know all the words but i still sing
whatever tomorrow may bring
this, that or some other damned thing
