'Accordiance'

'Accordiance'

A Poem by Pete
"

I should be glad if all the meadows on the earth were left in a wild state, if that were the consequence of men's beginning to redeem themselves. - Thoreau

"
View Through A Window Images

amidst ear to ear, prayed smiles
feet tapped
as tickled ivories giggled
a violin stretched
an organ cut through the daily grind
percussion shake-shimmied
a true renaissance of heartfelt joy

we swayed, sang and danced
all in 'accordiance'
because that's the way it is
in this slow, spinning world of his
just look out any window
come rain or shine
on the western skyline
