28,234 House Built Rock Stock Photos ...

swirling, curling and hurling
dark clouds gathered
lightning flashed, waves crashed
rain fell
winds blew
the tree bent and some branches broke
from out of the whirlwind a voice bespoke

there's a house
seems like it's been there forever
we all know it
we pass by it everyday
it's not shiny and new
but it's built upon rock

what could be
what should be
what would be
what is
what was
what will be

with the storm gone and homeless, now the blind man does see

Pete
" A hard, insensible man whom we liken to a rock is indeed much harder than a rock. From hard, coarse, insensible men with whom I have no sympathy, I go to commune with the rock, whose hearts are comparatively soft." - Thoreau
