In The Cool of The Day

In The Cool of The Day

A Poem by Pete
"

If Nature is our mother, then God is our father. - Thoreau

"
Who Told You That You Were Naked ...

footsteps
where no one has ever died
deep in the garden
silent majesty screams of divinity
unspoken words implied

prayers
where vines, souls and snakes weave
someone's walking in the garden
the one who made everything
and it ain't satan, adam or eve

That is wonderful! Pete and so true. Nature is doing her best to repair the damage we've done.
Thanks for this insightful, lovely poem.
