Double Bagged

Double Bagged

A Poem by Pete
"

The cost of a thing is the amount of what I will call life which is exchanged for it, immediately or in the long run. - Thoreau

"

too blind to see
hunched over
so heavy
my back is killing me

unable to ever let anything go
carrying all of these things
why?
i just don't know

thanks twc. try not to carry too much stuff.
Very apt image of one bent down with the weight of somber memories. It is a habit many of us engage in, the refusal to let these things go.
