Where You'll Find Me

Where You'll Find Me

A Poem by Pete
"

The sun is but a morning star, - Thoreau

"
Van Gogh 1889 by M G Whittingham
Vincent Van Gogh - Olive Trees With Yellow Sky And Sun 1889

where a beauty parlor of bouffant clouds hold hands and line dance
'tween rocking and rolling hills reaching and willing to take a chance
where a pristine forest of lonely trees rhyme
where today's innocence and tomorrow's guilt commit no crime
where 'always' and 'never' patiently and lovingly metamorphasize into 'sometime'
'neath a pearlescent sun staring wide-eyed in mesmerizing trances
tapping eternity 'pon the shoulder as it cordially and faithfully bows and advances
walking barefoot beside a seclusive sea
breathing god's immutable decree
where music buzzes like a bumble bee in each and every key
no need to search, i tell you
as sure as the virid earth spins
that's where you'll find me

I RARELY SAY 'WOW! BUT I just did, Pete. Your letters, their meaning and visual life are exceptional and tell what needs to be told - each and every one. Haven't heard any Gregg Allman for a while... must readi Joshua's store up in my attic! As to your gift of the week and always, great 'storyy tellin' and emotion, Pete. You have your own special touch,

that will do very nicely, sir: that is the world we should deserve - will read this post over and over.. and close my eyes and listen for a while too... sighh.

This is a really comfortable read. FI think they call it 'Fantastical' in science fiction terms.
Saw Greg many times solo and with the brothers. He was great.

lol. i'm not telling. perhaps someday, if you're a good boy, you'll get to a place even better!
You know, Pete, I think it's about being at the right place at the right time!

Look at that Van Gogh. It looks like a child did it.

But he's freaking famous!

can't argue with that. maybe we're our own worst enemies and need to rediscover our inner child.
In Van Gogh's case, I think his madness was intrinsic with his genius. Nice work, my friend.

You are far too kind Pete. I’m no master poet. Just a dabbler who loves poetry:)

Dear Pete
I want to be where you are… every line is luscious…., the rambling, the hope, the dream, the reality of it all, I want that too!
