Que Sera Sera (What Will Be Will Be)

A Poem by Pete
"

I am soothed by the rain-drops on the door-sill; every globule that pitches thus confidently from the eaves to the ground is my life insurance. - Thoreau

Autumn Evening Rain Painting by Angie ...
Autumn Evening Rain by Angie Livingston

giddy with drunken laughter
much sought after
shrouded in showery, autumnal secrecy
last night's rain danced
strutted and pranced
a pure, divine hymnody
declaring its immutable truth
in a sodden soliloquy
a bold, glorious decree
turning a prescient, sacred, showery key
because after all,
what will be will be

"Nature makes no noise. The howling storm, the rustling leaf, the pattering rain are no disturbance, there is an essential and unexplored harmony in them." - Thoreau
