people everywhere
striving
driving
conniving
stopping
grocery shopping
eavesdropping
be-bopping and bar hopping
dentures flopping
dating and mating
moaning and masturbating
confiscating
playing with matches and conflagrating

here and there
with empty souls and thinning hair
making rat salad with hands of doom
bang, pow and a trip to the moon
eager to flip an arthritic finger, curse and swear
with a blank stare
without a prayer
high heels on a rotted, steep stair
no desire to play fair
no life preserver with water rising and too many cares
going in circles when the path is square
drawers full of receipts but no return policy
it's buyer beware
