Unclogging Pipe Dreams

Unclogging Pipe Dreams

A Poem by Pete
"

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake. - Thoreau

"
Dreams are the fuel that drives us ...

steel eyelids heavy from chewing cud
darkness shines its spotlight
silence screams
reality sleeps
daytime gathers wool
if only in dreams
as one slipper and one shoe fall with a thud
