Setting Sail

Setting Sail

A Poem by Pete
"

It is easier to sail many thousand miles through cold and storm and cannibals...than it is to explore the private sea, the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean of one's being alone. - Thoreau

"
Set sail for the 1700s: Why the shipping industry is ...

walking the lonely shore
waiting for the tide to wash
for the riptide to mosh
for the wind to fill torn sails
to get to life's core

trying to row
with just one oar
going in circles
looking for direction
ever in search of more
weighing anchor
wondering what this voyage is for
