Ominous

A Poem by Pete

The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. - Thoreau

Thousand Bad Sky Royalty-Free Images ...

something's gonna happen
not just talking 'bout swayin' and rappin'
no need for applause let alone clappin'
i can feel it in my bones
i can hear it in my headphones

can't leave well enough alone
sure as the gray sky shivers, weeps and moans
spanning worlds and crossing time zones
not talking 'bout dripping ice cream cones
something greater than any man dares or claims he knows
hanging out, squawking and flying crooked with the black crows
living life like an episode of the sopranos
