Planet Claire

A Poem by Pete
"

In music are the centripetal and centrifugal forces. The universe needed only to hear a divine harmony that every star might fall into its proper place and assume a true sphericity. - Thoreau

"
cool dirty chinese guy dancer in style ...

i want to groove on venus
i want to groove with a dirty cleanness
i want to groove on mars
i want to groove on the highway atop tin can cars
i want to grove with unwrapped candy bars
i want to grove on saturn
i want to orbit in a different pattern

i want to groove with nothing to prove
i want to groove and be on the move
i want to groove and improve
i want to groove as to behoove
i want to frug to remove

i want to groove on neptune
i want to groove to my own tune on the moon
i want to travel with no airfare
i want to groove to a prayer
i want to groove with zero gravity hair
i want to groove with a pomegranate, a passion fruit and a pear
i want to dance on planet claire
maybe i'll take the stairs
someone please get me there
take care and please beware
and oh, i almost forgot
be sure to bring some oxygen, a sweater and a change of underwear

Author's Note

Pete
"A thrumming of piano-strings beyond the gardens and through the elms. At length the melody steals into my being. I know not when it began to occupy me. By some fortunate coincidence of thought or circumstance I am attuned to the universe, I am fitted to hear, my being moves in a sphere of melody, my fancy and imagination are excited to an inconceivable degree. This is no longer the dull earth on which I stood." - Thoreau
