Love Shack

Love Shack

A Poem by Pete
"

There is no remedy for love but to love more. - Thoreau

"
old shack with a rusty tin roof photo ...

i'm heading down to the love shack
because there's something that i lack
not looking back
not afraid of a heart attack
not worried about tooth plaque
or god-forbid a carjack

off the beaten track
i'll bushwhack with my zippered backpack
along with feelings  that can't be hacked
and a shot of cognac
not worried about a sneak attack
not worried about a damned thing
because my heart's insured by aflac
