A Poem by Pete
"

I say, beware of all enterprises that require new clothes, and not rather a new wearer of clothes. - Thoreau

"
Livfrels Fishnet Tights with Holes ...

"i really need to quit these things", you say to yourself
as you make impotent love to a cigarette
reaching under your taut, black, leather skirt to adjust lace, fishnet stockings
the high-heeled, thigh-high boots are killing you
donning a forced smile of disgust
you uncomfortably mumble, "i can't walk in these damned things"
just as your screen-cracked, cell phone lights up and rings

Pete
“As for clothing, perhaps we are led oftener by the love of novelty, and a regard for the opinions of men, in procuring it, than by a true utility.” - Thoreau
