Burglar Entering In A House Through A ...

sneakily
with a quick wit as sharp as the quills of a porcupine
i raise the window of your mind
ducking under the raised, crooked, dirty, venetian blind

as i repeatedly tell myself, "surely, you commit no crime"

with my goodie bag stuffed with everything i find

spitting out inedible, sour seeds of bad analogies along with a spent metaphor's rotten rind
my only consolations being that,
