Well Seasoned (Year-round Sound)

Well Seasoned (Year-round Sound)

A Poem by Pete
"

A healthy man, indeed, is the complement of the seasons, and in winter, summer is in his heart. - Thoreau

"
Is It Time to Redefine the Four Seasons ...

you brought a chill to my summer
a warmth in my winter of discontent
springing in fall
falling, then calling again in spring
every branch and finger with a diamond ring
you brought a little bit of everything

your well-grounded trees and hip songs rooting for me
from sea to shining sea
every chord, note, refrain and key
changing and singing with a rich glee
a harmonized hummer
a well seasoned newcomer
your sweet harvests never a bummer
