Morning

I don't want much

No telephone ring

or doorbell chime

nor prying eyes

with too much time

no barking dog

running amok

just quiet and coffee

that's all I want

In the mornings, I just want to have a quiet cup of coffee on the patio and listen to the birds sing, but I can't.

I can relate to this one Sam!! Can't others just understand and honor our request to have a few minutes of plain ole' peace and quiet??? I hope you are able to have just one morning as you desire!!! It doesn't seem too much to ask for - some simple pleasures in life!!

That is our morning routine and this very mild winter (so far) can still hear lots of birdies and a couple of greedy squirrels
Not sure if winter will arrive this year

actually, we are up in the hills 15 min. from seaside and we did get a touch of snow which came and went but it has been overly mild so far and if we don't get a snowpack, could be bad news for wells
