Johnny Gets Grabby

Johnny Gets Grabby

A Poem by Samuel Dickens
"

Silly poem about about a naughty boy.

"

Johnny-go-Faster, he was the master

Of stealing a kiss on the go

But when he got rude and touched Tina's b**b

She tied his two arms in a bow

Johnny-go-Faster, no longer master

Sits in the corner alone

For touching a b**b, he's one sorry dude

On Christmas, he'll get only coal!

A wonderful witty poem! I hope Johnny learned his lesson and thereafter, kept his hands to himself! So much said in so few words. Nicely penned, your words paint a picture of a very naughty little boy whom Tina sorted out! Lovely write, Sam. Enjoyed reading! Thank you for sharing...

Thank you. For some reason, I'm keenly familiar with naughty boys.

Ah, yes, I knew a few of those, but was never that kind of boy. I waited 'til I was a man and knew how to be more discerning, choosier, and could run a lot faster!

Good one Sammy, as usual!

Than you. I was much the same.
I know a couple of guys who deserve to have their arms tied in a bow. If only I had known how at the time. Tina seems pretty talented. I see this is a COVID era poem. I wrote several silly poems during the beginning of COVID. What else did we have to do? What a strange time. I'm glad you and I made it through, with our talents to keep us sane in a crazy world.

Thank you. God might like us, it seems.
Indeed you is Samuel.
Johnny has seen the error of his ways, but I do remember being very much like him, in a grabbed, feely then runny kinda way.
Maybe it's the great life cycle of man's understanding as we get older we realise we were the real b***s all along! 😃

Thanks. Trump and all his cohorts in crime may leave no room in hell for Johnny.
Thank you for keeping me company among bawdy poets blasting the sensibilities of the serious types feeling so pious & peaceful with Christmas on the horizon! I guess we're all feeling a little like Johnny, since this Christmas isn't bringing much togetherness. I just read that in Cali, we're allowed to only congregate with those we live with all the time . . . can't keep track of the rules, since I don't have to follow any out here in the wilderness. The deer & wild pigs don't mind my germy breath! Good job keeping imaginations uplifted despite many restrictions! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
