Nostalgia

Nostalgia

A Poem by Pumpkin Girl

The silence is over-bearing
I try to fill the silence with music
But its always too quiet
Silence drags me to my addictions
I try to pull away
But it's so tempting
So the music gets louder and louder
So every thought will disappear
The temptation will fade away
Later to show itself again
Going back to my bad addictions
Seems so welcoming
But I pull myself away
To keep others at ease
I'll keep telling myself
Just to survive another day things will get better soon
But it's starting to feel like lies
Is there any hope left for me?
