Bottomless Wine Bottles

Bottomless Wine Bottles

A Poem by Pumpkin Girl

Haven't seen you in years
You cut off every connection to the outside world
You created a hell that you can't escape from
When I finally saw you
You were like air
Transparent and gone
Every choice that you made disturb you
Forgot everything that you once cared about
Stumbled and sank to the bottomless abyss
Weeped to others only to forget everything
Your demons drag you back to your crumbling haven
Only for everything to repeat

A grieving, sad heartbreaking poem of remembering, slight who you once were. And not being able to find yourself again. And be whole again.
