Dark sunset

A sunset I wish to watch but I cannot, 
For there is no sun where I live
Merely darkness.
For miles and miles forever the road goes
There is only darkness.

I travel down this road
That leads forever in the dark
But I am searching, searching for that light
The light that will, one day 
Take me to my sunset.
