A hint of sadness

Behind that .. Smile

That smile

With those desperate eyes

That smile

Keeping those tears at bay

It was a smile

But only a smile

With emptiness behind

That smile

Had more heat

Than the sun

That smile

Longer than a mile

But empty 

It was

That smile

With nothing behind

But sadness

Yet that smile

Kept on smiling!! : ))
