The Kiss of Death

Just a little something I cooked up in English class. XD

No matter how tempting it may seem.
The Kiss of Death is still execution.
Sure, she appears to be a dream
The love of your life, but it's all a scheme.

It makes me wonder if dead men
Would want to die again,
If the executioner was an angel?
A sin for a virgin,
                    Will all of it be worth then?

White silhouette upon her fair skin.
                               Hazel eyes, crimson lips
Untapped fire within.
Seduction may as well be a kick to the chin
For the ends, he will try naught but every mean.

Oh! How I long to get that kiss!
Sweet love, one thing I would miss.
Perchance a fallen's saving grace?
I would die once to live forever.

I love the progression in this piece. I was drawn in from the first stanza and enjoyed the journey to the finish. I also admire the creative format.

ERROR: Last line of second stanza - Will all of it be worth (it) then? I'm not sure if the absence of (it) was intentional. If so - disregard.
