Love me for who I am

Love me for who I am

A Poem by Lyssie Perkins
"

A poem about being transgendered

"

love me, love me for who i am
try to know me, try to see
under soft flesh beats the heart of a man
a man who simply wants to be

try to know me, try to see
beyond the me you think you know
a man who simply wants to be
is stuck in pretense, stuck in this show

beyond the me you think you know
this facade. category: girl
is stuck in pretense, stuck in this show
a man who wants to live in this world

this facade: category: girl
it leaves me torn up inside
a man who wants to live in this world
is forced to be stifled and to abide

under soft flesh beats the heart of a man
love me, love me for who i am

this work is a part of who you are,as it comes from the heart.
now,if you would do as a man,in times like this,we go fishing or go play a round of Golf.
this is the alone time a man sometimes needs, to clear his thoughts and get ready for the next week of the same old grind,of, go to work, make the money, come home, eat, shower and go to bed, just to have messed up dreams, wake up and do it all over again the next day...so...
when you wanna go fishing ? d:?)
