Breathe

A Poem by open ended

Despite all that is confusing and sad, breathe instead. Remember that there is a tomorrow to face and that, perhaps, it may be the best day yet.

The darkness is blinding

And the words choke my throat

The coldness is scalding

While the waves heave the boat

Light is draining away

Like the sea from the sand

Choose to smile today,

Leave the music to the band.
