Strange dreams revisited me last night...

I saw you in a dream

I knew who you were

I saw our first kiss

It went like this.

You swept me off my feet

You swung me low towards the pavement

And you kissed me

I tried to hide it

For fear of the citizens of my dream

Might view the romance and spread rumors

Rumors of a past love rekindling

So I pushed you away

When I woke up I was hot.

The hellish kind of heat.

A bead of sweat dripped down my face.

Then I realized it was a simple dream.

But in those few minutes between dream and reality.

I actually reconsidered.
