One Wish

another poem for my creative arts contest at school. the theme is still i wish

if i had one wish

that would come true

there are so many things

from which i would have to choose

maybe making

people not mean

make them nice not so

ignorant, rude, and obscene

making communities

safe and fun

people being kind

to everyone

something for me

i'd really like to fly

soaring like a bird

up in the sky

maybe i'd decide

to make the world not so poor

so a piece of cardboard

isn't a homeless person's front door

still a work in progress... please give me ideas from which i can add to it with.. most importantly i need a good ending
