Come And Find Me, The Lonely One

Let’s play a game.
Not one where I tell you to start.
No- I start this one
I’ll run, and you do want you want.

So if your looking for me, search,
And I will like this game then.
I don’t mind the loneliness it stirs.
I’ll simply wait for you.

Now, I want you to know,
That I am a pro at this game
I can hide with the greatest ease,
And in the end-
all I want is to be found by you

So come on, come look.
No, only if you’re willing too.
I wouldn’t appreciate just kindness
Only the feelings from within.

Search for me, the best you can
After all this is my favorite game
But don’t for get the rules I have told you
The ones I only take.

And if you can bear to find me
And Locate me beyond the hiding
I’m sure a smile will be there, waiting
With my loneliness beyond recall.

After all, when you’re alone
Or feeling all alone, yet right next to who’s best
It may come, that you have to let them know
By hiding from them first.
