Dont let it show

dead bodies surround me
but i cant let it show
bullets are falling
like winter snow

but i have to fight
andi cant let them know
that im scared to death
i cant let it show

the loyalty of my soldiers
the blood that they shed
the injuries they endure
will never end

but i cant gve up now
i have to fight
knowing some of my comrads
will die in the night

every step i take
i risk my life
i have a family at home
3 kids and a wife

if i do die
ill die for a reason
but no one said war
would be that easy
