Passion

Passion

A Story by Random Ruth
"

What are your passions...are they meaningful to you alone or do you exude passion in your beliefs so that others will be inspired by them?

"

I would like to pose a question to my readers...assuming someone, somewhere is going to read this little bit of me!  What is your passion and do you make it known or hide it under a proverbial "rock"?  Some would think that their passion is Jesus Chirst and that they are all about salvation, redemption, love and peace and grace and hope.  I dare to ask you...If this is so...then why are you the only one who knows about that "passion'?"  I am not pointing fingers at anyone...and this is a question I can fire at me.  I love the Lord Jesus and believe that He is the only hope for this world..but I have a problem taking that out of my head and telling others...It is strange that we that profess to be such great "Christians" have a real problem when it comes to telling others just how great it is to believe in Christ!

Do we fear retribution from our not-so-passionate friends?  Could be!  Also, society has made it so difficult to address beliefs in a meaningful way...Christians have been stigmatized by non-believers to the point that atheists and other agnostics promote hatred for us and many Christians fear rejection and keep their "light" under that basket.  It is a shame that Satan has that much influence over them ...but it is true..and atheists not  only don't believe in God...they also don't believe that Satan is at work..so these folks are helpless when it comes to seeking protection and leave themselves wide open to the devil's handiwork!

I think that Chritians need to unite...religion is often a barrier between people of faith..the difference of opinions and different religious "doctrines" are a hinderance to any kind of cohesiveness of the many "faiths" in our country and all over the world.  We need to remember that The Body of Christ is all-inclusive of people of all races...all religions...and that religion by itself does not account for salvation or grace, peace or anything else we associate with Jesus Christ...It is Him that counts...a relationship built on loving Him...trusting Him and believing that He is who He claims to be...our Redeemer....Mighty God...Alpha and Omega....He is not Catholic..He is not a Jehovah's Witness....nor is he just sitting in the pew of YOUR church...He is the Church...we, as believers are His Bride and because we believe ...we will one day see Him ....
