Clouds that come and go
Untold divine missions do
They carry out, without pause or falter
They our fates can certainly alter.

Clouds that gather up above
Do they ever wonder?
What do scurrying mortals matter?
When the heavens shatter?

Now and then clouds do go
Far above to hot unknown lands
The wonder, the surprise, the unabated joy
When they reply to uplifted hands.

I think that stanza 2 is my favorite by far, but this is a good piece from start to finish. I have been into clouds since I was very young, must be the poet and dreamer in me.

My favorite lines were "Do they ever wonder? / What do scurrying mortals matter? / When the heavens shatter?" that was some very nice writing. I like how you made this simple, yet at the same time quite thought-provoking. It creates an image, I think, that we all can relate to.
