when two souls fit
but resound dissonance.
when two bodies linger
but performs illicity.

when innocence begins,
and a heartbeat sounds mellafluously.
when the ineffable epoch begins,
and nefariousy strikes.

Author's Note

This poem revolves around abortion, a trending societal issue. The first stanza touches on a sexual relationship, whether it was of two willing parties or a forced abuse, the reason of abortion always begins because social conventions are not met. The second stanza goes on with the development of the child, pure and innocent, however, powerless against the decisions of its death.
