Emily

     When Emily's journey began, she never knew it will end with a decision that will change her life for ever. 

She was heading to her hometown wondering why her uncle has called her to come home as soon as possible. Coming back was a good reason to has a new start with her mother. Emily has never thought that this trip would end with tragedy.

When she reached to the station her uncle was waiting for her .She hugged him with love.

 "I really missed you,"she exclaimed. "You look old and bale. I am woundering if you were sick."

Her uncle replied, "No, Iam fine. We missed you too."

Emily walked with her uncle to his car.

 "Why did you call me to come here quickly." She asked.

Her uncle looked weird, and answered her, "It is about your father’s will."

Emily said, "I did not know my father left a will for us."

"Yes he did." he replied.ju

Emily entered her uncle's house and said, "Why we did not go to my mother’s house?"

"She would not at any time forgave me for leaving town. She never understood that after my father died I could not stay with her .I promised him that I will be a successful lawyer, but my mother wanted me to get married."

Her uncle replied, "You are an intelligence young woman. She loved you so much, and she did not meant to hurt you."

Emily felt the pain was entering her heart. she remembered her mother's words. "If you left, then you will never come back."

However, Emily promised her that she would come back.

 Emily waked up soon and entered the kitchen.

She said, "I hope we could finish all these issues soon. I want to be on my way back as soon as possible."

 "I am sorry but there was something you should knew. It was about your mother. She was very ill." He replied.

 "She was very sick.Why you have not informed me before?" she said.

" You have no right to keep her sickness away from me." She stood up with anger to face her uncle.

" It was your mother choice. We never though she will be that sick."

Emily looked with pain in her eyes,"What is my mother's illness?"

" The Doctor will explain everything to you." he said.

Emily entered the ER, and saw the Doctor coming toward them.

He stood there and told her, "I am sorry because you are in this condition, but you are the only one who can take this decision."

She answered in hopeless voice, "Which decisions are you suggestions?"

The Doctor led them to her mother's room. Emily entered and stopped suddenly when she saw her mother lying down in her bed. She looked old and bale. She was connected to big machines that helped her to breathe.

Emily could not hold her tears and said hopeless," what is happening to her?"

"I am sorry to tell you that your mother was in a coma from two months, and her brain is not functioning  any more." The Doctor explained the problem.

Emily was scared of their question. she looked terrified when they said, "we want you to sign the permission papers to disconnect your mother from the breathing machines."
