Classroom notes 2...!!

This is not fully my work. Its a joint work between Sakshi {an amazing writer and a good friend http://www.writerscafe.org/sakshinitt}. She came up with the first line of every para and I the 2nd :)

I woke up when darkness released its sheath,
But could not locate the reason beneath…

Slept till the blanky kept me warm,
for fearing to wake with no charm…

Slept till my eyes got relieved of the strain,
but its only in them where lies the pain…

Slept till morning birds started chirping,
for they suppressed the sound of my weeping…

Slept till my dreams had a happy ending,
but its them only which kept me burning…

Slept till the gloom vanished completely,
for was fed up of chasing blue so blindly…

Slept till I wanted to stay away from this world insane,
Coz i could’nt anymore hide my tears in rain…

Slept till the dew drops survived,
Coz it was the wait, in which all my tears dried…

Slept till you called out my name,
for it was the oly voice which could relieve my pain…
