we'll never find forever town

there's this thing called forever town

it speaks to us

it lets us down

begs for our trust

and stays behind the thrust

a city forged

in the fingers of hope

but it leaves its mother gorged

touched, felt, and groped

there's this place

called forever town

it has this face

it never frowns

and all of sudden, you wear its crown
