Last Rush

Last Rush

A Poem by Azalea Rose

Two teens mixed with nicotine is enough.
One is bound to catch a cancerous cough.

The prideful way she spins when she takes a drag,
is enough to make a man fall over and laugh.

"Too good" is apparently not good for him.
Because Claudia died and left Trey a great big bin.

Filled to the lid with little love notes,
each note with a hint of her tobacco perfume.

Reading each one, he sets them aside.
When he reaches the last one it
reminded him of her suicide...
