The Sonet of ShameA Poem by Rebecca Dias
What is the point now?
I feel like going on, but how? When half of your soul just dies And it makes you cry once or twice Shame on me, why am I like this? Getting rid of something you are not going to miss Instead of looking for death on the shore Just take the love and make it more I hate the way you don't hurt like I do But who can save me? Who? What is a pair of socks with just one shoe? I end every sentence with a question mark I can weep as easily as a dog can bark I might kill as easily as a shark
