Days of DarkA Poem by Anne LockhartDarlin’, don’t you cry. You’ll see - it’ll be alright. Days in the dark don’t make you who you are. How you feel now? Yes, it will very well determine how far you will go. But we’ll push through the thorns - you’ll see. God has a way - a way you may never know. Oh darlin’, everything’s gonna be alright. Stop choking on those tears and lift your head to the stars. God is up there - but no, He’s not watching. He’s doing. Trust me darlin’ - you’ll soon see. All of this is not for nothing. © 2014 Anne LockhartAuthor's Note
