... inspired by a friends love of the ocean waves...

Sailing

 

ocean waves whisper,

only she hears its motion

sing to night and stars,

 

their melody floats

adrift, tempting her to dream

while riding moon beams.

reading this back to back with Lydia's "Just a Little While" is perfect ..the peace of the ocean's movement and her music is in both your poems yet uniquely different ..i should savor your poem re-enforcing such serenity and sign off now ..but i still have some time ..most assuredly there is some darkness to read along my day today ;} love your poem .. it is well woven and tho i am not one for being in the ocean .. the scene is also played on the sands ... nice one!

Love your double senryu/haiku which blends human nature & outdoors nature. Love your nature observations & good enjambment. Sometimes we just need to sail away when the current strife gets too loud & distracting. I've been gone awhile & it's good to read you again, my friend (((HUGS)))
